The Montreal Marathon on Sunday will be partly  held THROUGH the Botanical Garden. The constraints should last from 8:30 to 12 h noon. Traffic will be disrupted in the area. – See above map attached. Everyone will have to adjust their itinerary according to their point of departure.

Parking P1 (Sherbrooke, corner Pie IX) will be available normally but probably overloaded. Parking P2 (Insectarium) will be inaccessible. Public transport (Metro Pie IX) is therefore strongly recommended.

In the Botanical Garden itself, the gardens located along  Pie iX boulevard  (perennials, useful plants, shrubs, etc.) will not be accessible before noon. Too bad because they are at their best! On the other hand, the other gardens, Rose Garden, Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, First Nations Garden, Shade Garden  including Light Garden etc. will be accessible as usual.
