Dim Sum Sketching

March 24, 2013

DimSumLunch

Two tables of sketchers from Dim Sum this morning at Kam Fung Restaurant. It was quite nice – sketching , chatting, and munching. I think this could become a good method to pass the winter months. But, I hope for our next sketch-out in April we will finally be able to go outside. Fingers crossed for no rain. Stay tuned on this blog for an announcement – but I think we’re trending towards the Lachine Canal? (Feel free to send me suggestions you guys).

Sketches in a Moleskine, 10 min drawings outside, then painting with pelikan gouache pans in the tea house.

Yes, thanks to Laurel for all her good suggestions. So the Lachine Canal. That sounds great. Can’t wait to get out there.

Yes, our Dim sum guide was great – and good photos! Looking forward to Canal Lachine in April. There was the suggestion of the mountain (hill, for the Albertains😉 ) perhaps for May??
